Will The Espy be the same?

Parts of it will be. Parts of it won’t be. Parts of The Espy haven’t been seen by the public for over 60 years! We’ll be opening up every square centimetre of Hotel Esplanade’s five historical levels, and filling them full of music, arts, cocktails, beers, food, fun and laughter. We seriously can’t wait to show you!

What date are you opening?

We’ll be launching the pub in November, this year. Jump on our social media channels and sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date with all of the latest and greatest information, including the date our doors open.

What are the trading hours?

7 days a week from lunch until late, and from 9am for brunch on weekends.

Are you taking dining bookings yet?

Not just yet! Keep an eye on our social media channels and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear about when dining bookings are open. To start off with, we won’t be taking bookings for casual drinks. Just come down early and grab a seat for the sunsets!

Will live music still be part of The Espy?

100%. The Espy has always been, and always will be, the home of live music in St Kilda. We’ll have three separate stages to cater for every musical taste. We’ll break new bands and discover new sounds, but also pay our respects to the local and global legends that have made Melbourne one of the greatest live music cities on earth.

When do tickets go on sale and how do I buy them?

Tickets and information for all of our live music gigs will be on sale later in the year. Keep an eye on our social media channels and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know.
