This Negroni Week, Mya Tiger has upped the ante on bottled cocktails by offering magnums of Negroni.
Batched from the wine barrels that line the walls of Espy Kitchen, these 1.5L showstoppers are made with Tanqueray Gin in American oak wood barrels, treated with Tawny Port and aged for four weeks before being bottled onsite.
Mya Tiger’s fast-fire Cantonese menu is designed to share, and so too are these – it’s actually mandatory and will only be served to tables of eight or more guests.
While they will set you back a cool $280 (let’s face it, you’ve probably spent money on sillier things), $60 of the cost will go directly to one of Melbourne’s leading homelessness charities, Sacred Heart Mission.
For those erring on the side of caution, which is well advised when it comes to the three-part classic concoction, individual serves also are available for $19, with $5 from each sold going to Sacred Heart Mission.
Time to drink for a cause, and very good cause at that!
